February 26 - Lord, thank You that I can partner with You in raising my child and that I don't have to do it alone. I'm grateful that I can have clear directions from Your Word and wisdom as I pray to You for answers. (Power of a Praying Parent daily)
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If ANY of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives GENEROUSLY to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does." James 1:2-8
Don't you dare consider "throwing in the towel"; that's just what the enemy wants. Praying for someone, especially when you can't see a change, is exhausting, frustrating and seemingly unyielding. But Wisdom means, "the spiritual capacity to see and evaluate life and conduct from God's point of view." Whatever you're praying in faith for your child(ren), deliverance, healing, salvation, deliverance, deliverance, deliverance...TRUST AND BELIEVE that it shall be done! Ask for wisdom and ordered steps then STAND FIRM on the promise. In Jesus name, Amen!
