Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. When Jesus died on Calvary; He secured my child's eternal future. If my son/daughter has accepted, believed, and confessed that Jesus is the son of God, who hung, bled and died BUT lives again...his/her future is secure. How secure? As secure as a building resting on a cornerstone! I'm reminded of the game "Jenga" where you carefully remove individual blocks from stack of blocks trying to keep the entire stack from falling...OH BUT THE CHIEF CORNERSTONE CANNOT BE REMOVED!!! Somebody shout GLORAAAAY!!!!
Father, we thank you that Your love for our children even exceeds our love for them and You have secured their future because of that very love. You are an awesome Father and the ultimate example of how to parent. We love You and praise You, in Jesus name, Amen!
